We specialize in the installation and replacement of:

  • Heat Pumps: Energy-efficient systems that provide both heating and cooling.
  • Air Handlers: Essential components that circulate heated or cooled air through your home or business.
  • Water Heaters: Both tank and tankless water heaters to fit your hot water needs.

A heat pump is a versatile system that provides both heating and cooling by transferring heat. In the winter, it extracts heat from the outside air and moves it indoors. In the summer, it works as an air conditioner by pulling heat from inside your home and releasing it outside. It's a highly efficient and environmentally friendly option for year-round comfort.

For detailed information, please visit the Energy Star How Does a Heat Pump Work page.

Yes! Heat pumps are incredibly energy-efficient because they move heat rather than generate it. They can be up to 300-400% more efficientthan traditional heating systems, saving you money on energy bills while reducing your carbon footprint.

The Seattle Clean Heat Program is an initiative to help homeowners and businesses replace their old, inefficient heating systems with energy-efficient heat pumps. It offers rebates of up to $2,000 for qualifying heat pump installations, helping to reduce your upfront costs. This program is designed to encourage the transition to cleaner energy sources and improve air quality in Seattle.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Seattle resident or business.
  • Must replace an old heating system (like a gas furnace or electric baseboard) with a qualifying heat pump.

For more details and application, visit the official Seattle Clean Heat Program website.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) offers a heat pump rebate to customers who upgrade to a qualifying heat pump system. The program offers up to $1,200 in rebates for the installation of eligible heat pump systems, helping homeowners save money while improving energy efficiency.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a PSE customer.
  • Must install a qualifying heat pump system.

For more information on eligibility and how to apply, visit PSE’s Heat Pump Rebate page.

The Inflation Reduction Act 25C Tax Credit provides a 30% tax credit for eligible home energy upgrades, including heat pumps, air conditioners, and water heaters. This federal incentive helps you reduce the cost of energy-efficient upgrades to your home by offering significant tax savings.

Eligibility:

  • The tax credit applies to homeowners who install qualified systems in their      primary residence.
  • You can claim up to $2,000 per year for the installation of energy-efficient equipment like heat pumps and water heaters.

Check with your tax advisor to learn more about how to claim this credit. For detailed information, visit the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit page.

Eligibility for rebate programs depends on several factors, including your location, the type of HVAC system you're installing, and the utility companies or programs available in your area. We can help you determine your eligibility for the following rebate programs:

  • Seattle's Clean Heat Program
  • Puget Sound Energy Heat Pump Rebate
  • Inflation Reduction Act 25C Tax Credit

  • Single Zone Heating and Cooling: A single-zone system is designed to heat or cool one area of your home. It typically consists of one indoor unit connected to a single outdoor unit. This is a great option for smallerhomes or individual rooms. For more information you can watch the Mutsubishi Single Zone Solution video.
  • Multi-Zone Heating and Cooling: A multi-zone system allows you to control the temperature in different areas or rooms of your home independently. Each zone has its own thermostat, and you can install multiple indoor units connected to one outdoor unit. This is ideal for larger homes or for those who want precise control over the temperature in specific areas. For more information you can watch the Mitsubishi Multi-Zone Solution video.

  • Single Zone: Best for smaller spaces or homes with open floor plans.
  • Multi-Zone: Perfect for larger homes, homes with multiple stories, or if you need different temperatures in different rooms.

For optimal performance and longevity, it’s recommended to have your HVAC system serviced at least once a year. Regular maintenance ensures your system is running efficiently, prevents costly repairs, and extends the life of your equipment.

When choosing a water heater, consider:

  • Size: Choose a water heater that meets your household’s needs for hot water demand.
  • Efficiency: Opt for energy-efficient models to save on utility bills.
  • Installation: Make sure the space where you plan to install the water heater accommodates the size and requirements of the unit.
  • Type of System: Decide between a tankless water heater for on-demand      hot water or a tank water heater for consistent, stored hot water.

  • Tank Water Heaters: These store a large amount of hot water in a tank and keep it heated at all times, ready for use. They are ideal for homes with high, consistent hot water demand.
  • Tankless Water Heaters: Also known as on-demand water heaters, they heat water only when needed, which can be more energy-efficient and provide an endless supply of hot water, though they require a higher flow rate for multiple outlets to be used simultaneously. For more information, visit the U.S. Department of Energy's Tankless or Demand-Type Water Heaters page.
